Procrastinating from studying art

I had 3 finals today.

Environmental Sciences was what I expected, straightforward and nothing tricky. I had to take at 8 am. That was then followed up by climate dynamics. Kinda tricky, but I was able to figure out the answers. And the professor is my advisor, and I am sure she wants to see me graduate, so that helped.

In between that and cloud physics most of the department was watching the forest fire that was burning about 3-4 miles to the east of State College. I didn't have my camera, but the smoke was pretty intense. It smelt like smoke all day, and it even made for a beautiful sunset.

Then cloud physics rolled around. Ouch. I did well enough to pass the course, but wow, clouds are pretty complicated. And there is stuff about them, like the behavior of ice nucleation, that we don't even understand.

My last exam is Art History. The studying for that is going well. Pretty straightforward.

Last week I was interviewed by a sports-blogger from India about the USA and the World Cup. The interview can be read here:

The end is in sight, I know I can make it.
